What these numbers are
Each row is what a shopper in that country sees on the product page: the average star rating and how many ratings it is based on, star-only ratings included. The figures come from Apple’s public lookup, queried from your browser — Manifest never sees the app you check.
Written reviews are separate. App Store Connect lists them for every storefront, but they exclude star-only ratings, so the two numbers never match. Why you can’t see all your reviews explains the difference and where to find the rest.
Use it on competitors, too
Rating counts are public. Checking a competitor’s count across storefronts shows which markets actually use it — a practical signal for which language to localize into next. Check again in a month; the change in count is a rough, public proxy for momentum.
